The PD702G-UL913 is an intrinsically safe Digital Portable Radio designed for use by those professionals who must work in potentially dangerous and hazardous conditions. The intrinsically safe certification means the portable radio complies with some of the world’s strictest safety standards. The PD702G should be used by those working in environments with explosive gases or combustible dusts where the use of standard radios may not be safe. The UL913 protection designation of Class I, II, III DIV I Group C-G -22° F to 131° F T4 is further described in the Intrinsically Safe brochure.
