The Hytera TC700 Ex is an Intrinsically Safe Analog Portable Radio intended for use in potentially explosive environments encountered by firefighters and other emergency services personnel. The radio has been specifically designed and constructed to be safely operated in these hazardous type conditions. The “Intrinsically Safe” classification is a fire safety rating given to the equipment by the Factory Mutual Research Corporation. With this rating, the radio is considered safe to use in certain flammable or combustible atmospheres. The I.S. The Hytera TC780 is a mid-to-high tier Analog Portable Radio with easy-to-use controls and secure reliable communications. The alphanumeric LCD display and full keypad allow emergency professionals maximum use of the various indicators and powerful functions of the TC780 radio. The radio is available in VHF or UHF frequency ranges, has a channel capacity of 256, and can be switched between low and high output power levels. Standard accessories for each TC780 include a 2100 maHr Li-Ion battery, MCU charger, a power adapter, antenna, belt clip and strap. Typical operational time for a fully charged battery is approximately 16 hours when calculated with the (5/5/90) duty cycle. The size of the portable radio is 5.0 x 2.1 x 1.4 inches and its weight is 12 oz.
