The USAlert NP40 Pager Programmer consists of a programming fixture labeled as UB-07, a standard USB cable, and NP40 programming software. The programming software is also used to program the USAlert Alpha 2 and NP35 pagers. Programming the NP40 from the three available pager types is determined by selecting the appropriate pager designation – J7 for the NP40, J8 for the NP35, and J25 for the Alpha 2.
The USAlert NP40 Numeric Pager Holster is included as a standard item of every NP40 pager, but is also available individually as a replacement if the original is ever damaged or lost. Made of the same durable and rugged black polycarbonate material as the NP40 housing, the holster has a built-in clip that attaches securely to a belt. The pager slides into the holster and is held there solidly by “snapping” into place. The NP40 can be easily removed from the holster to view any new messages or review previous messages. With its open-face design, messages can also be easily read with the pager still remaining in the holster.
