Alpha Elite Pager
The Alpha Elite is a fully synthesized 4-Line Alphanumeric Pager that can zoom to a 2-Line display with larger characters. In 4-Line mode, 20 characters are displayed per line while in the 2-Line mode, 10 characters per line are displayed. 19 personal messages can be stored on the Alpha Elite with each message containing up to 2025 characters. 10 of these messages can be locked in memory and protected from automatic replacement when memory becomes full. The pager uses the FLEX coding format, is available in VHF or 900 Mhz models, has 16 programmable capcodes, and operates with 25 kHz wideband channel spacing. Narrowband channel spacing is available. The Alpha Elite uses a single “AA” alkaline battery and has an estimated battery life of 90 days, based on receiving 2 pages/day at the 512 baud rate.
Incoming message alerts can be set to an audible alert, a vibrating alert, a chirp alert (beep), chirp alert with vibrate, or no alert at all (silent). When set for an audible alert, the user can select from a number of alert patterns including a standard alert or one of 7 pleasing alerts. When enabled in the programmer software, these alerts are user selectable from the front panel buttons. Audio and Icon indicators keep the user updated on pager status with Reminder Alert of unread messages, Out of Range, Memory Full, and Battery Gauge indicators. Some of the messaging capabilities of the Alpha Elite pager are Message Preview, Message Time and Date Stamping, Duplicate Message Management, Selective Message Erase or Erase All, and Save Messages When Off or Changing Battery.
